Welcome to Fishing in Wessex
In this site you will find information on fishing in and around the historic region of Wessex in the South of England. The focus of the site is centred around the counties of Hampshire and Dorset, which includes some excellent rivers, a superb coastline and many lakes and stillwaters which stock many specimen fish.
Detail of many venues & clubs can be found on this site and these can be found in our local clubs and venue pages. These venues are being added to, and if you own or run a fishing spot, then feel free to add yours to our website.
Also on Fishing in Wessex are some fishing articles, and tips, along with my fishing diary where I add details of my fishing trips successful or not.
